| Allegheny County police said Monday they arrested a man who was a part of a Neville Island home invasion early Christmas morning that left one man shot and another stabbed. Police said Britt Pleasant-George, 23, of McKees Rocks was one of five men who entered a home on Riverside Place at 1:23 a.m. to rough up the new boyfriend of his former girlfriend. During the assault, one of the men shot the ex-girlfriend's father, Eric Kennedy, 45, multiple times in the back. Kennedy was able to stab one of the intruders, most likely in the back, police said. Kennedy was trying to break up the assault, police said. Five people were in the home at the time, police said. Kennedy is expected to survive his injuries, police said. Because of a long blood trail leaving the house, police believe the stab wound to the intruder was severe. "We believe he got into a vehicle parked a few blocks away," county police Lt. Bill Palmer said. Pleasant-George is jailed on $100,000 bail. He is facing nine charges, including aggravated assault and burglary. Anyone with information is asked to call Allegheny County police at 412-473-1300. Police described the four other suspects as black males.
